NEIL'S AMAZING FAMILY | |

Neil was born and raised just 11 miles from Boston, Massachusetts. He has two sisters, Jill is older, and a younger sister, Katie. His parents are Joanne and Charlie. Neil's relationship with his family is very very strong. He loves them all a great deal. Neil is a perfect mix of both his Mom and Dad. He has his Dad's silly side, his handy-man ability, his desire to re-do or fix something. Neil also has his Dad's inability to avoid a stupid pun. Like his dad, Neil can't stay angry. When Neil is angry, after about 5 minutes, he will start to laugh. It's a funny trait that he picked up from his dad. Neil is also a lot like his Mom. He has his Mom's straightforwardness, attitude, sense of humor, creativity, knack for finding the best sales, and cooking skills. Neil recently lost his final surviving grandparent, his dad's mom, NANA. He was asked to give the eulogy which he sobbed through nearly uncontrollably. While at the wake, Neil was talking to some of his cousins and he was saying how, now, more than ever in his life, how proud he is to be his parents' son and how much he wears his last name Anderson, as a badge of honor.

What can I say about Neil's mom and dad? They are magnificent people. Neil's dad is so incredibly talented. He is a self-taught woods craftsman, able to make the most beautiful furniture. He knows a great deal about a great deal. Joanne, Neil's Mom, is such a great woman. She is very kind hearted and loves her kids very much. She is such a creative person. We are always in awe at their houses and how they are decorated. Neil's mom is currently working as a aid to some elderly folks. She gets a lot of satisfaction helping out people in their old age. We think it's an extremely noble cause. We love them both very much.

We love this picture. It is Neil, his two sisters, and his grandmother. It's a little dated, taken in 2001. Neil's grandmother meant a great deal to them, this picture is framed and kept on his bureau. She was 102 when she passed away.
Neil got a lot of his passion for the Boston Red Sox from his mom.
